Spacecraft Collision Probability Thesis

I could make a whole website about this one! This was my Master’s Thesis work at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in the Astronautics Engineering MS Program. I worked primarily with my adviser Dr. Abercromby, AFRL committee member and project spearhead Dr. Lovell, and NASA Ames space traffic management advocate Dr. Bilimoria. The thesis titled, “Sun-Synchronous Orbit Slot Architecture Analysis and Development” is a combination of orbital mechanics, perturbation theory, relative spacecraft dynamics, and regulatory politics. I spent about 18 months thoroughly entrenched in books, derivations, MATLAB, and Satellite Toolkit (STK).
